The SWAT team works with Lieutenant Piper Lynch, a senior LAPD Hollywood Division officer, when the mayor assigns her to oversee city departments joining forces to stop a serial bomber using drones as detonation devices. Also, just as Hondo settles into legal guardianship of his teen charge, Darryl, his home life becomes more complicated when his estranged father unexpectedly moves in.

In the aftermath of his decision to speak out in the press, Hondo retreats to a quiet town in Mexico to reassess his life and professional future, only to find himself reluctantly drawn into one local familys fight for justice.

SWAT tackles a mission with personal ties for Hondo when they race to find a group of missing students and their bus driver, Hondos former high school football coach. Also, Hicks has reservations regarding Hondos new 20-Squad team addition, Devin Gamble, a cop with a family background deeply entrenched in crime.

2 - Peace Talks

Hondo and Hicks desperately search for Powell, whos gone missing in Mexico City along with a thermobaric bomb capable of killing thousands. Deacons pride gets injured in a boxing match with Rocker.

The SWAT team acts as a domestic surveillance unit for the CIA to confirm whether an international crime lord has resurfaced in Los Angeles after being off-grid for years. Also, Tans mother, Chan Fei, is a victim of racial discrimination, and Hondo encounters his ex-girlfriend Nichelle, for the first time since their breakup.

Still in Mexico, Hondo teams up with a local cop for a dangerous rescue mission, only to find himself with a target on his back. Also, back in Los Angeles, Hicks considers disbanding the team for good.

When a spree of brutal stash house robberies spills into L.A., 20-Squad must team up with the sheriffs departments gang unit to unmask a violent crew who leaves no witness alive.

Also, SWAT helps the FBI track down a mob informant on the run from the crime family he is meant to testify against, and the team dynamic becomes complicated when Street and Tan sign up for a leadership competition Chris has been training months for.

3 - 27 David

When a robbery crew holds up the iconic downtown Los Angeles library, the team discovers that stolen architectural drawings could lead to a major threat against the city. Also, the squad is surprised by the arrival of a new leader, longtime LAPD veteran and former S.W.A.T. member Rodrigo Sanchez.

3 - Life

20-Squad faces down a prison hostage situation, only to be thrown into deeper danger when a bomb explodes, freeing maximum-security prisoners from their cells, including someone with a personal grudge against Hondo.

4 - Spare Parts

SWAT hunts down a Chilean arms dealer after he kidnaps a woman and her daughter from a party in L.A. with unexpected intentions. Crossing paths with his brother, Tan is forced to come clean to his family about his divorce from Bonnie, while Hondo discovers that Hicks has received a job offer that could lure him away from SWAT.

Also, Hondo receives troubling news regarding his father, and Tan is forced to go before an internal review board due to his girlfriends indiscretion.

The SWAT team searches for a rogue member of an extremist group planning to attack the memorial service of a famous musician who was outspoken about police brutality. Also, tension mounts between Hondo and Leroy, Darryls father, when Leroy is released from prison early.

As the team races to stop a violent band of armed robbers, the search is complicated by civilians using a public safety app that encounters vigilantism; Street receives difficult news that alters his future.

5 - The LBC

Street reconnects with his estranged foster brother, Nate, to help a joint investigation between SWAT and the Long Beach Police Department when criminals steal a mass arsenal of LAPD assault rifles. Also, Hondo finds himself at odds with his father over the elder mans declining health, and Luca is overwhelmed when the entire team reconsiders becoming investors in his food truck,

5 - West Coast Offense

When the team responds to a home invasion call, they uncover a murderous plot against a famous pro football quarterback; Hicks gets a long-awaited lead on a Jane Doe case he worked 20 years ago.

After a prison transport van overturns, Hondo and the team hunt down three female fugitives, including a serial killer on the verge of a rampage. Also, with Annies return to work, Deacon struggles to maintain a work life balance, and Luca does his best to teach Kelly to drive.

Also, the SWAT team searches for an abducted Middle Eastern human rights activist; Lucas food truck business hits a snag; and Street worries that dating Captain Hicks daughter, Molly, will negatively impact his career.

6 - Hopeless Sinners

Chris brings the SWAT team into her personal mission to save a teenage girl from a charismatic, predatory religious leader using his church for illicit gain. Also, Hondo receives troubling news about Darryl related to Leroy, Darryls father, being released from prison, and Tans wedding planning hits a snag.

6 - Crisis Actor

When armed gunmen storm the set of a controversial cable news show that promotes conspiracy theories, the team races to prevent a hostage situation from escalating on live TV. Also, Chris supports Street as he prepares for his mothers funeral.

7 - Last Call

After the shocking shooting of a member of 20-Squad, Hondo and the team launch a citywide manhunt for the robbery crew responsible. Meanwhile, Deacons plans for his future hit a snag, and Powell and Alfaro clash over a tricky issue.

The SWAT team searches for thieves who are on the run with a high-tech thermal lance that can cut through almost anything. To find the thieves, SWAT works to identify their target. Also, Chris confronts an imbalance in her relationship with Kira and Ty.

7 - Under Fire

The SWAT team goes on the hunt for a sniper who is targeting the Los Angeles Fire Department by setting fires around the city to lure in unsuspecting engine companies. Also, the rivalry between Chris, Street and Tan ratchets up when Tan finds out theres an internal betting pool on which of them will win the SWAT leadership competition. And, Street and Mollys relationship is strained by his complicated history with his imprisoned mother.

7 - Keep the Faith

Hondo returns as leader; the team is pulled into a dangerous case involving a large stockpile of cash and the Russian mob; Daniel Sr. opens up to Hondo about a painful time in his past.

8 - Family Man

The SWAT team faces off with a family of doomsday preppers barricaded inside their fortress of a home, and Deacon finds himself at the center of the storm. Also, Tan clashes with a reporter covering the situation and Powell grapples with meeting the child she gave up for adoption 18 years ago.

With help from Deacon and Dr. Wendy, Hicks makes an important decision about his romantic future.

When Deacon enlists Chris help on an off-duty private security detail, they struggle to survive when theyre attacked by a drug cartel looking to kidnap their wealthy VIP client, on the new day and time.

10 - SNAFU

As 20-Squad scrambles to track down a cold-blooded sniper terrorizing Los Angeles, Hondo discovers a link to his own South L.A. neighborhood that brings a personal twist to the hunt for the deadly shooter. Meanwhile, Tan finds himself questioning his leadership abilities while Powell and Alfaro compete in a classic game of SWAT tag.

Also, Hondos father, Daniel Sr., tries to make amends to his mother, Charice, Streets foster brother, Nate, asks for his help with a corrupt boss and Deacon reluctantly explores therapy for his daughter, Lila.

10 - Buried

As the SWAT team helps the LAPD search for the prime suspect in a womans disappearance, theyre joined in the field by a new team member. The personal strain between Chris and Street comes to a head as both await Hicks decision on who the winner is of a prestigious leadership competition.

10 - Three Guns

The SWAT team partners with the DEA to locate stolen rocket launchers smuggled into Los Angeles, high-power weapons with new technology capable of cutting through armored tanks. Also, a personal issue for Tan arises when a colleague is hurt in the field; Hondos inquiry into the arrest of a homeless veteran for Leroy, Darryls father, sparks an idea for a new policing initiative; and Luca suspects the mother of his mentee, Kelly, wants to date him.

11 - Whispers

Tan finds himself on a one-man mission to save his new love interest and her journalist co-workers when mercenaries take over a black-tie correspondents dinner. After the group escapes, its up to SWAT to track down the well-trained gunmen.

Street is caught between his duty to SWAT and his commitment to his foster brother, Nate when Nate is ensnared in a criminal enterprise that could ruin them both. When a crew of violent eco-terrorists abducts the teenage son of an energy company executive, SWAT must untangle the kidnappers twisted motives before carrying out a high-stakes rescue mission. Meanwhile, Hondos involvement in a shooting draws outrage from the very community hes dedicated his career to protecting. And, as Deacon is called on to help with the escalating crisis, hes forced to confront nagging doubts about his retirement.

Back in Los Angeles, the rest of SWAT search for any contacts the criminal cultivated while hiding out in Los Angeles, and Street isolates himself from the team as he deals with family issues.

13 - Sins of the Fathers

The team works together to hunt down a deadly band of mercenaries hired by a wealthy CEO trying to leave the country before hes arrested for running a massive Ponzi scheme; Hondo is forced to confront his changing relationship with Darryl.
