Liz temporarily moves in with Jeff and Audrey, and quickly irritates Audrey when she takes Jeffs side on everything. Meanwhile, Adam and Timmy team up to beat the rest of the company at ping pong.

As Liz (Wendi McLendon-Covey) enthusiastically tries to make her marriage to Russell work, he tries to end their relationship.

Audrey discovers that Russell is really a closet Broadway-musical fan, and uses this knowledge to her advantage by blackmailing him for tickets. Meanwhile, Adam and Jennifer decide to take dancing lessons.

1 - Flirting With Disaster

Jeffs snoring has gotten out of hands. Audrey, who isnt able to sleep anymore, decides that she and Jeff should sleep in separate bedrooms. While this could seems like a bad situation for some, other like Jeff see the good side of it. Jeff takes advantage of his new found freedom by staying up too late and living like a college student.

Married couple Jeff and Audrey have just learned their next door neighbor, Jennifer, has become engaged to her boyfriend, Adam. But when Jeff tries to give Adam advice, he develops doubt about the impending engagement. Meanwhile, Jennifer fixes up Adams best friend, Russell, because she believes the right woman could change his habit of being a serial dater. Meanwhile, Jeff inadvertently starts a fight between Audrey and himself about an old bicycle.

2 - Taking Names

Jeff and Audrey ask Russell to list the women he has slept with so they can avoid giving one of those names to their baby. Meanwhile, Adam is humiliated when he spends a lot of money on a new bicycle and gear.

2 - Bros Before Nodes

Worried about getting his fathers approval, Russell gets Liz all dolled up to meet him. Meanwhile, Jeff is more concerned about his guys weekend being cancelled than Audreys feelings, and Adam has a new friend (Curtis Armstrong) to drive crazy.

2 - The Bank

Jeff tells Adam his secret for keeping track of Audreys mistakes and how he uses that list to keep Audrey from getting too upset with him when he makes mistakes. Russell hoping to get a girl sends a nasty e-mail to Timmys love interest.

2 - Snoozin' for a Bruisin'

When Jeff and Audrey switch sides of the bed, Jeff accidentally rolls over and clocks Audrey in the face, landing her in the hospital.

2 - Voluntary Commitment

Audrey has to keep her bet to Jeff by finishing what she starts. We meet Russells new assistant.

With Audreys sister, Barbara, having problems in her marriage, the only thing she doesnt need is a man who would trick her to try and get her to sleep with him. But, sadly, in Audreys life there is a man just like this. During this episode, Russel will try everything to get a one night stand with Audreys sister.

When its time to plan a party for Jeffs birthday, everyone gets involved. But Audrey is spending a little too much time on planning the party, which makes Jeff unhappy. Alhough Jeff wont reveal what he usually gets in the annual birthday deal, Adam brings up the subject with Jennifer and is then worried when Jennifer not only agrees to give him a birthday deal, but announces she wants to get one in return. Meanwhile, Russell is obsessed with trying to figure out what Jeffs birthday present really is.

3 - Cats and Dogs

Liz wants to have a baby, so she turns to Russell for help. Meanwhile, Timmy takes Jeffs advice on how to attract a coworker, but it all backfires.

3 - Audrey Is Dumb

Audreys throat surgery makes her unable to speak, much to Jeffs delight. Meanwhile, Russell tells Timmy the only way that he will get a raise is if he does Russells dirty work and fires someone.

3 - Rug-Of-War

Jeff wants to see if he can get Audrey to get the rug back after Jeff gets sentimental about the rug and reminds Audrey about all the good times they had on that rug.

3 - Atlantic City

Audrey tries to make Jeff feel guilty for not telling her that his friends bachelor party in Atlantic City was cancelled; however, her plan backfires when Jeff discovers that Audrey is also being deceitful.

3 - Jeff's New Friend

Jeff learns a fact about a friend he just met at the gym and Russell has doubts about the family history of a new girlfriend.

Jeff finds himself in trouble when he tries to fix an issue Audrey is having with one of their neighbors.

While Russell has a hot new date, Audrey bets Jeff that he cant score a phone number from a younger woman and gives him a night without his wedding ring to try.

Jeff makes an effort to change his unhealthy eating habits after he accidentally eats Jen and Adams “special” cupcake and lands in the hospital. Meanwhile, Russell forces Timmy to be his wingman when his date brings her mother on their night out.

When the gang decides to take a trip to Vermont to check out the fall foliage, they find themselves wishing they had never left home. Meanwhile, Russell has renewed faith in his marriage to Liz.

Audrey tries to be more spontaneous in the bedroom with Jeff. Meanwhile, Russell invites Timmy to join him on a business trip to distract him from his fear of flying.

Jeff puts Audrey in a bad mood after he fails to respond to the news of her big promotion at work because he is watching his basketball game. Jeff tries to make it up by inviting her to floor seats at a Knicks game. But she cant decide what to wear, which it makes Jeff wonder if she cares more about how she looks than about him. Now that Jennifer and Adam are living together, they have an argument over money.

5 - Fountain of Youth

After meeting up with college friends who are no longer into partying, Jeff and Audrey set out to prove that even with a baby on the way, they can still have fun. Meanwhile, Timmy tricks Russell into accompanying him to a nursing home.

5 - Shy Dial

Jeff has found a way to talk to his wife without having to physically talking to his wife through an app on his phone by telling her what ever he wants by having his voicemail go straight to her voicemail. Adam has a salesman come to his defense after his friends pick on him for some bad choice in picking his clothes.

When Audrey realizes how miserable her job is making her, she contemplates quitting. Meanwhile, Allison tells Timmy she wants to slow things down.

To make Audrey happy, Jeff begrudgingly agrees to see a couples therapist. Meanwhile, Russell develops a crush on Timmys fiance.

Jeff and Audrey are invited to dinner with Jennifer and Adam, but tell a lie so they can attend a better bash that evening. Russell also attends the same party and manages to offend former NFL great, Jerry Rice.

Audrey tries to persuade Jeff to eat healthier when he is diagnosed with high cholesterol, but he cant help sneaking around with Brenda for unhealthy food. Meanwhile, Russell tries to keep up with his new college intern on the party circuit.

When Audrey bonds with their unborn baby, a paranoid Jeff believes she is trying to form an alliance against him. Meanwhile, Russell plagiarizes a real estate article that Timmy wrote.
